Bamboo Fiber Labeling for USA
Here is a Email about certificate of "rayon from bamboo"
1,
It has to be a genuine certificate from the supplier to the vendor (which the vendor shares with us) with the proper letter-head and signature of the supplier who has confirmed the source of rayon to be bamboo.
If a vendor simply writes a statement, it will not be construed as a certificate.
2,
The content of the certificate does not contain details like style nomber, color, product type etc., by which the product can be uniquely identified. The letter head does not have the name, address, phone number, website address (if a website present) of the company, also there are no details of the owner/manager who signed the certificate (name, designation, phone number, email address, date when the certificate was signed etc.)
It is an incomplete certificate, and therefore cannot be accepted by the lab

FYI
TECHNICAL NOTE subjected BAMBOO FIBER LABELING for USA, as followed,
here I only give the "rayon" NOTE FYI.
Production of "Rayon from bamboo" follows the same principle involved in producing conventional rayon man-made fiber. In this case, the cellulose is extracted from bamboo plants. Fabric made from this fiber cannot be labeled as bamboo, they need to be labeled as "rayon".
The folllowing would be the format of recommended US fiber label for "Rayon from bamboo" provided there is a certificate of guaranty from the manufacturer that certifies the source of rayon to be bamboo:
(i)The Results Reporting
60% Cotton
40% Rayon from Bamboo
Remark: Miosture Regain of Cotton 8.0% & Rayon 11.0%
(The certification of source of rayon is solely based on the certificate of guaranty provided.Ultimately, it is the vendor's responsibility to substantiate the claim of source of rayon in case of litigation.)
# A copy of certificate should be kept with the test report by the lab.

Hoping can help U, & B. Rgds!~
