" y) Q" I2 _& ^, vEffective from 16 March 2006, BS EN 1021-1:2006 and BS EN 1021-2:2006 supersedes BS EN 1021-1:1994 and BS EN 1021-2:1994 which are withdrawn. The two updated standards become the latest available standards to describe test methods and requirements for ignition resistant upholstery composites. The standard principal changes are to modify the testing procedure and update specific definitions with testing methods.

Upholstered furniture and beds for use in hotels and other contract situations must also meet the regulations with higher requirement.
