近日，A6:2008对EN71-1:2005标准进行了修订。
修订后的标准针对某些玩具提出了详细的新要求和新测试方法，其中，部分条款概述如下：

4.8  
尖头和金属丝
新标准中对预计不会弯曲却在偶尔或意外情况下会变弯的金属丝（例如，玩具中的天线）增加了新的要求：不可有折断后产生的危险性尖头，或者金属丝不得经过一轮弹性测试(8.13.3)后穿透玩具的表面。

4.21
含有非电热源的玩具
对含非电热源的玩具设置了升温要求，并强调此类玩具必须遵循电玩完全标准EN62115:2005的规定.
4.22
小球

球的最新定义：任何通常情况下用于投、击、滚、抛、弹等活动的球形、卵形或椭圆形的物体，或任何至少有48个切面，接近球形、卵形或椭圆形的多边形物体。
新标准规定：根据8.32.2.方法测试，当球用线、弹性绳索或类似物质从玩具上悬挂下来时，其长度不得穿过测试模板E而超过30mm长。

8.6 测试建议
体积或者容量大的玩具，如果高度低于1500mm，用≤120N的力水平挤压，如果超过此高度，则在1500mm之下，用≤120N的力水平挤压。

EN71-1:2005 Amended by A6:2008

EN71-1:2005 was amended recently by amendment A6:2008. The new amendments have specified new requirements and new test methods for certain toys. Some of the affected clause requirements are summarized below for information.
4.8 Points and metallic wires
New requirement is added for metallic wires that are not designed to be bent but are likely to be bent accidentally or occasionally e.g. antennas on toys. It shall not break and produce hazardous sharp points, or protrude through the toy cover, when tested by the flexibility test (8.13.3) for one cycle.
4.21 Toys containing a non-electrical heat source
Requirements for temperature rises are defined for toy containing non-electrical heat source. Requirements for toys containing an electrical heat source should follow the electric toy safety standard EN62115:2005.
4.22 Small balls
Ball is newly defined as any spherical, ovoid, or ellipsoidal object, usually but not always, intended to be thrown, hit, kicked, rolled, dropped, bounced or any multisided object formed by at least 48 connecting planes into a generally spherical, ovoid or ellipsoidal shape. New requirement is added for freely suspended ball from a toy by attachment of a string, elastic cord or similar such that it shall not pass through the test template E to a distance (A) greater than 30mm when tested according to 8.32.2.
5.12 Hemispheric-shaped toys
Objects intended for drinking e.g. tea set cups is subjected to the requirements due to the European Commission’s decision 2007/184/EC of March 23, 2007.
8.6 Tip over test
Large and bulky toys shall be pushed horizontally by applying a force ≤120N at 1500mm from the ground or at the top edge of the toy for toys less than 1500mm height.
