代表服装、鞋类以及其他缝纫产品公司的美国服装及鞋类协会（AAFA），已经于2007年7月9日颁布了严格限用物质（RSL）列表。本RSL列表用于给服装以及鞋类公司提供有关服装成品、鞋类以及家用纺织品中有害化学物质含量限制的多种全球法规信息。此列表主要基于全球的立法和法规，同时也会根据市场趋势以及行业所关心的环境符合性问题作出规定。
